Roles & Responsibilities
1. Production Planning - Develop production schedules and BOM lists; allocate resources, and plan workflows to ensure products are manufactured on time.
2. Process Improvement - Identify areas in the manufacturing process that can be enhanced or streamlined to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Implement changes and seek continuous improvement on the process.
3. Reviews production program equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacement. Production consumable items are replenished timely.
4. Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
5. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
6. Production information - compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
7. Monitor and maximize the usage of production machineries and schedule for machine maintenance to reduce production downtime.
8. SAP administration when received production order to closing of production order. Ensure shipping mark / labels is correctly attached on the packaging before hand over to logistics.
9. Safety Compliance - Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. Conduct monthly toolbox meeting to determine types of safety measure and implementation are required.
10. Documentation-Maintain detailed records of manufacturing processes, changes, and improvements. Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various manufacturing tasks.
11. Training - Provide training for production new personnel, new processes, new equipment, and best practices to improve their skills and knowledge.
12. Guide and improve the production performance of the department together with production manager (quality, lead-time, delivery performance, costs).
13. Assist the Production Manager responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical, safety, and human resources, whilst respecting the defined goals
14. Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time; perform ad-hoc tasks when requested.
