Job Description
- Supervise a team of QA inspectors in ensuring the inspection, testing and measurement of in-coming material, in-process and out-going products are conducted according to the established procedure and within the defined time line, which include :
- Ensure timely disposition of non-conforming materials and products
- Plan and approve overtime for QA Inspectors within the allocated budget.
- Ensure QA equipment and tools are calibrated.
- Review and ensure accuracy of data reflected on QA Inspection check sheets, production records and Certificate of Analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams on investigation of customer complaint on product quality and internal non-conformance, including corrective actions and risk mitigation to prevent recurrence.
- Provide timely response to customer on quality matters including product quality complaint, customer audit response, and survey and questionnaire on compliance maters from prospective customers.
- Ensure applicable SOP and WI are updated and in compliance with regular conduct of SOP and WI trainings to QA Inspectors and operational personnel.
- Review QA inspection, test and measurement process and recommend improvement including cost saving opportunity.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by reporting manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in Mechanical / Material Engineering or other relevant fields
- Candidate with Diploma in Engineering with good trackable working experience wil be considered
- At least 2 years of manufacturing environment and relevant experience is preferred
- Good understanding in SPC, FMEA, Risk Assessment Approach
- Strong in report writing skill and Public speaking skill and able to facilitate discussion from cross-functional team
- Knowledge of Product Safety, Food Safety and Food Packaging Regulation, 8-D Problem Solving including data gathering for RCA (Root Cause Analysis), FMEA, Defect Prevention is an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding in Microsoft Office Assess and VDA is a plus
