Job description

  • Review & setup an efficient & effective daily routing plan with optimum store coverage
  • Develop contingency plan to avoid operation disruption in the event of unexpected happenings
  • Recommend compensation structure for the operations team, in line with the company focus & operations requirements
  • Ensure daily store coverage is achieved
  • Strive towards optimum stock availability & avoid out of stock situations
  • Ensure non-promotion shelf tickets are available on home shelves
  • Ensure promotion price tags are available on promotion products during promotion periods
  • Ensure share of space in stores
  • Plan & execute timely setups for promotions & events
  • Handle administrative matters such as annual leaves, medical leaves, appraisals
  • Lead the team of merchandisers in achieving stated targets
  • Motivate the team towards team spirit, passion & commitment
  • Provide training & guidance towards optimum merchandising & operations standards stipulated by the company
  • Plan and setup ad-hoc promotional activities, eg. Expo Sales ,Atrium Sales, Baby Fairs and etc
  • Analyse pre & post promotion effectiveness for events such as baby fairs
  • Involving in hiring of promoters for related sales events

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing and leading merchandising team.
  • Must be familiar with FMCG Industry and experience in dealing with supermarkets.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Good in following up on assigned projects and tasks.
