Job Description

  • Proactively communicate Group and Business Units strategy, corporate, social and governance developments to drive visibility and build brand equity.
  • Lead and manage key internal and external communications programmes and corporate events including Annual Dinner and Dance.
  • Proactively engage media to generate regular positive coverage, work on external communication tasks including media relations, corporate marketing and drive corporate social responsibility agenda.
  • Prepare media coverage reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare press release statements and dissemination; arranging media teach-ins, press briefings and / or media conference calls.
  • Regular interaction with key media contacts to build relationships and identify potential opportunities for engagement.
  • Broadcast information & handle complaints/feedback from public & stakeholders.
  • Involve in the showcase of organisation’s facilities and services by hosting corporate visits.
  • Offer guidance to and develop communications strategies across multiple platforms for various Business Units and Group.
  • Regular discussion with key internal stakeholders to identify potential ideas to pitch to the media.
  • Partner with the Product/Brand teams to ensure a cohesive and organized marketing strategies across all Business Units.
  • Responsible for the write-up for corporate collaterals such as Newsletter, Corporate Brochures, Annual Reports, maintain the Corporate Website, and prepare corporate presentation materials and speeches.
  • Identify and develop positive media stories to enhance the company/subsidiaries branding.
  • Conceptualise and implement integrated communications plans to support organisation’s plans and programmes.
  • Proactively identify, monitor and manage media issues.
 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in various aspects of corporate and marketing communications (preferably in FMCG)
  • Must have an eye for detail and relevant experience in Marketing/Digital Marketing
  • IT savvy
  • Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills
  • Highly independent
