Attend to all IT Helpdesk calls and service requests. Log tickets and track open tickets & service requests to closure and provide IT Helpdesk related monthly reports.
Provide technical support & service to end users, configuration and troubleshooting issues related to personal computers, smart phones and standard applications.
Manage Windows 7 to 10, MS Office, network connectivity, printer mapping, folder mapping etc.
Perform desktop hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis
Perform desktop patch update according to existing process
Manage desktop & software inventory.
Assist with internal and external audit by providing documents upon request
Attend to projector & audio/video equipment issues, PABX issues and manage backup tapes for offsite safekeeping.
Attend to vendors who are onsite to perform service maintenance (Data Centre or network vendor) or service recovery of any equipment within the IT area.
Active Directory account administration. This includes provisioning of file server access, removal of access for new and existing users, and purging of disabled accounts.
Print and File Servers administration.
First level network troubleshooting
Basic email administration
Assist in identifying and optimizing processes & procedures to improve IT service delivery.
Ad-hoc IT related tasks / activities as assigned by DSE team lead / manager.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as Desktop support
Candidate must be willing to be based in Jurong Island.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision in the Jurong Island. There is a shuttle bus service to fetch staff to and from Jurong Island and Jurong East MRT station.
Required to man duty phone (which will be provided) after office hours. This is rotated between 2 or 3 staffs weekly.
Required to work on weekends occasionally for data centre related activities.
Must be a team player and able to work with various teams
Must be reliable and able to adhere to established process and procedures
Possess good analytical skills
Have good interpersonal and written communication skills.
