Job description

The Bell Captain supervises bell desk operations. He/She is responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them with fond farewell. He/She makes sure all baggage movements are tracked and accounted. The Bell Captain also adheres to hotel standard operating procedures at all times and communicate with Front Desk to increase the efficiency of Bell Desk operations.

Job Requirements

  • Ensure that bell desk is manned at all times
  • Keep working area is clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure smooth and fast baggage handling for all arrival and departure guests
  • Attend all guest calls for Bell services
  • Delegate bell boys to pick up the baggages from guest rooms
  • All baggage movements are tagged and recorded
  • Ensure that hotel guest shuttle bus service and airport transfer are carried out smoothly and properly
