Job description

This position is for Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore (PIDSG)


  • To strengthen compliance with the export control laws, customs laws, and trade laws and regulations, locally and/or internationally, by 24 Panasonic group companies in the ASEAN region including Singapore, through meeting with, and educating the trade compliance managers of those companies, and providing on-site training, educational materials and monitoring.
  • To provide competition law compliance training to the employees of 24 Panasonic group companies, jointly with their legal managers, in order to prevent any cartel conducts and to uncover any suspicious conducts
  • To establish or arrange legal affairs support structures for 24 Panasonic group companies, with reinforcing their legal affairs and compliance organization, company regulations, and compliance programs.
  • To strengthen professional networks with lawyers and other legal professionals in the ASEAN region including Singapore for the benefit of 24 Panasonic group companies.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in international export control & customs laws, and  other legal affairs areas
  • JLPT N1 / Native Japanese speaking equivalent, to liaise with our Japanese counterparts in order to provide legal supports and advice for Panasonic’s subsidiaries in ASEAN region
