Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultative selling, share with customer on EDMS Managed Services such as Service Desk and SMT Tools, influence customer (technology, solution, RFP specs), design the solution that meet customer requirements
  • Provide solution packaging and support for Managed Network Service and Managed Service Desk.
  • Selling the key capabilities and benefits of the SMT products such as ServiceNow, Compuware, CA, BMC, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Solarwinds, etc through presentations, demonstrations and positioning competitive strengths and differentiators.
  • Build proof-of-concept plans based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the solution
  • Provide Technical Architectures design, Costing and Budgeting.
  • Understand customer's requirements and translate into technical requirements specifications
  • Work closely with Sales, competency centres to propose SMT tools solution to address customer requirements
  • Responsible for supporting bid preparation, bid response and tender/RFP/RFI proposals
  • Provide cost-effective solutions in order to win bids/tenders/proposals and to ensure good customer satisfaction; highlight solution risks and its mitigation
  • Conduct technical presentation and clarification and ensure high quality documentation for assigned projects
  • Upon contract award, perform handover to operations team on the services to be delivered
  • Keep abreast of product technology and certifications
  • Lead and review solutions proposed to customer
 
 
Requirements:
  • Relevant and expert level industry certification and extensive experience in an ICT Pre-Sales Solutions Architect role.
  • Hands-on experience working with implementing Monitoring/ITSM software solutions and solid understanding of the various technologies, overall market landscape, benefits and challenges
  • Preferably a degree in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent qualifications with at least 5 years of working experience in ICT industry
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred
  • Excellent written and communication skills and ability to lead and develop presentations
  • Prior experience leading opportunities to gather customer requirements
  • Propose/Develop solutions that leverage capabilities to address the client needs
  • Experience reviewing and responding to RFP’s and RFI’s
  • Ability to communicate with Operations Teams, IT Staff, DBAs, Developers, Architects, Partners and C-Level executives addressing specific business needs with a technology solution
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skill
  • Post sales experience (implementations, architecture design, scalability testing) is a bonus
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies and able to work under pressure
