Job description

  • To liaise with Japan headquarter on 3rd party warehouse quotation and shipment issues
  • To build and maintain customer relationship and satisfaction.
  • Planning, Organizing and Controlling of 3rd party warehouse over-all operations
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of employees, provide on the job training to workers.
  • Conduct counselling and take disciplinary measures if necessary.
  • Manpower planning and deployment to ensure smooth operations of 3rd party warehouse activities.
  • Create procedures such as Standard of Operations to meet objectives
  • Manage stock control: the receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics/Business or related disciplines
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in managerial position in logistics and freight forwarding company
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in Japanese to liaise with customers from Japan and Japan headquarter
  • Able to read and translate email and report in Japanese language
  • Willing to travel overseas
