Lead and manage day-to-day IT Department to support and ensure smooth operation of applications, networks, servers, laptops and desktop systems. Provide technical support and advise where necessary
Study business and application specific requirements, review organisational IT infrastructure as well as design and implement the IT architecture to meet current and future requirements.
PC hardware, printers & desktop support equipment maintenance, MS Office, Outlook, email, pc configuration, printer configuration. Including in house PABX programming and housekeeping.
Maintaining the Company and intranet website as well as Cloud Application (DMS), updates and changes
Maintenance of all servers including MS SQL Servers, AD Servers etc. Including servers backup and administration.
Monitoring of servers health and ensure continuity of system operations in the event of disasters.
Develop and implement backup and security procedures to safeguard information.
Manage and maintain companies‘ Network configuration and connectivity
Actively participate in management planning/strategy meetings and provide input on the most appropriate and effective use of technology.
Evaluation of New IT technologies. Review, identifying and exploiting suitable technologies, strategies and solutions to meet present and future business needs.
Prepare yearly detailed IT budget projections, and quarterly budget updates in conjunction with the Finance Manager. And ensure that IT spending is consistent and stays within th approved Capex and Opex budgets.
Plan, coordinate and negotiate for all IT purchasing activities across all companies.
Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines ;
4-5 years IT experience in designing and deploying network and systems infrastructure for similar industry.Possess of working knowledge in ERPand database concepts, preferably with experience of MS Dynamics AX
Good knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005, Oracle 8i, MySQL, windows applications and operating systems. Technically sound in troubleshooting Win2003, Win2000, NT4 and IIS.
Skill in VB.net , ASP.net, ADO.net, Net platform Tools
Conversant in TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, LAN, WAN, Router, Firewall and Gateway Security
Support and maintenance of Windows Symantec AV, Backup Exec & NetBackup
Good analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking capabilities
