Job Description


  • Focuses, develops and executes business strategies for winning new projects.
  • Handles sales and technical-related issues arising out of existing or new projects with timely and prompt follow ups.
  • Builds rapport and keeps close business relationships with key stakeholders within suppliers, customers, contract manufacturers, etc.
  • Works closely with Sales Support and Sales Account Executive to ensure that suppliers and customers’ needs are met.
  • Drives, coordinates and communicates any work-related issues e.g. quality concerns, delivery matters, etc. with Glocom relevant personnel and external parties i.e. customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Updates internal reports e.g. project trackers promptly and regularly
  • Entertains suppliers and customers as and when necessary.
  • Needs to have the flexibility to travel for planned and impromptu business trips at times.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superiors and Management. 

Job Requirements

  • At least NITEC/GCE ‘A’ Level or Diploma preferred but ‘O’ Level with sales experience may apply.
  • Sales experience in any of the following preferred : electronic components, die cut products, elastomers, rubber-related products, gaskets or mechanical components. 
  • Strong, interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
  • Self-driven, meticulous & able to work independently with positive work attitude & under stress. 
  • Ability to understand the client‘s needs & present solutions.
  • Understanding of markets & products.
  • Possess own vehicle with valid Class 3 license
