Job Description


SUMMARY
Bartenders are responsible for the beverage service to bar guests and Beverage/Food Servers in an assigned service station ensuring efficient and prompt service for restaurant customers. To possess knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and to prepare and serve all beverages with consistent quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for efficient service of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages from the bar
• Strict adherence to standards operating procedures, food safety, sanitation and hygiene requirements and practices
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the bar and it’s operating equipment
• Assist in the beverage inventory for requisition and usage on a daily basis
• Prepares all mixes and garnishes
• Serve all guests within the bar area in a friendly, efficient, and accurate manner
• Ensure proper cash management procedures
• Reports all equipment, people issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Assist floor operations as and when needed
• Adheres to Company policies and procedures at all times
• Adhoc duties assigned by Supervisor
 

 

 

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum ‘N’ levels
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Service oriented
• Good knowledge of beverages at the bar
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good teamwork and able to work in a fast paced environment
