Job Description
- Our DA evaluates and designs interior living and work spaces to make them functional, appealing and well-suited to an owner's needs.
- Create decorative layouts for homes, office complexes, medical facilities, restaurants, stores, places of worship, airports and hotels.
- Create color palettes, selecting appropriate furniture, and accessorizing the space with fabrics, wall hangings, window treatments, light fixtures and flooring.
- Communicate effectively with clients to make sure the design fits the owner's style and purpose.
- Conduct exciting design representation for both residential and commercial clients
- Conduct or propose purchases furnishings, schedules delivery and coordinates installation.
- Responsible for sales function in terms of prospecting, identifying and establishing new customers
- Coordination and collaboration with other allied design professionals who may be retained to provide consulting services, including but not limited to architects; structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, and various specialty consultants.
- Administration of contract documents, bids and sales quotations/ proposals based on customers’ requirements
- Ensuring success completion of projects to customer’s satisfaction
- Selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment and millwork, including layout drawings and detailed product description; and provision of contract documentation to facilitate pricing, procurement and installation of furniture.
- Observation and reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion, as a representative of and on behalf of the client; and conducting post-occupancy evaluation reports.
- Design furniture and facilitate pricing, fabrication and production.
- Attend design parties, meet-ups, exhibitions when required.
- Attend Weekly Sales Meeting as required
- Attend Weekly Design Training as required
Job Requirements
- At least a diploma holder of any field.
- Training would be provided.
- Passionate about design
- Constantly coming up with great ideas
- Appreciate of all forms of creativity and technology
- A team player, sharing your opinions and willing to help others
- Can clearly communicate your ideas with clients and colleagues
- Thorough and have excellent attention to detail

JIA is a boutique design studio specializing in architectural 3D modelling, rendering and visual effects for architectural and product visualizations for use in posters, promotional literature, or for product concepts.In the past three years,
JIA has worked with 100 local-based projects and has consistently persisted in the quest to provide clients with breathtaking renders, visual treatments and astonishing edits for residential and commercial interior space planning. With a growing international and domestic clientele, JIA has developed a studio pipeline which is at the forefront of technology and skill enabling a unique merging between cinematic visual effects and architectural design.
We are honoured to be working on designs for National Day 2017 & Christmas Wonderland for 2017.
