Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
  • Management of the various Breadtalk Bakery’s Warehouses and Store Houses.
  • Manages the 3rd Party Logistics, External Storages and/or Transportation partners engaged by Breadtalk Bakery.
  • Work closely with all functional departments to process product orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to the outlets.
  • Ensures the accurate and timely processing for receiving, warehousing, distribution and returns operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures in close collaboration with internal customers and logistics partners.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring quality and security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing storage layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieves operational and financial objectives; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions and providing KPI reports to management.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Logistics or Higher
  • Minimum 5 years in inventory control and/or logistics industry
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) as to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
