Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Must be familiar with company's policies and procedures regarding Cashiering, Cash Handling, Product Exchange, Returns and Discounts. Know what to do and how to explain to customers.
  • ponsibility for all cash and valuable items entrusted to you. Handle them with proper care and caution at all times, including the times of exchanging or transporting cash.
  • Ensure cash float is correct. Notes & coins denominations are enough for transactions.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accuracy.
  • Tally Daily Settlements, cash and all related documents. Hand in to Branch In-Charge on duty for audit.
  • Maximize individual and team efficiency rate at cashier counter, to minimize customers’ waiting and queuing time.
  • Be calm and patient, polite and responsive to customers’ queries and requests at all times.
  • Report to Branch-In-Charge immediately if there is any suspected money scam activities, counterfeit money, important customer feedback and other serious concerns.
  • Do housekeeping daily. Keep the cashier counter and outlet clean and neat.
  • Work effectively and co-operate with colleagues in same and different departments, as a team.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of working experience required.
  • Relevant WSQ qualification or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
