The incumbent is overall responsible for providing support to areas around logistics, production (wood, metal, spraying and coating), project sites, warehouse and procurement in handling daily inbound and outbound activities.

Job Responsibilities
• Support the Logistics Manager in day-to-day logistics and transportation activities;
• Oversee and coordinates daily activities of outgoing shipment to sites;
• Maintain positive and supportive working relationship with all drivers;
• Communicate and address service issues between drivers and sites with the appropriate personnel and department;
• Direct team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments and  providing guidance to general workers;
• Compile daily drivers’ delivery report and ensure that Vehicle Maintenance Checklist of all company vehicles are completed on a weekly basis;
• Ensure shipment documents are filed systematically with traceability;
• Receive incoming goods and materials from stakeholders and distribute to the respective requestor(s);
• Follow up and maintain records of returned goods or materials from project sites as per the Goods/Materials Return Form;
• Take ownership of cleanliness and safety at areas of work, ensuring materials are properly stacked and labelled
• To tackle and provide solutions to unexpected problems occurred during course of work and take appropriate action to resolve
• Develops collaboration relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and drive continuous improvements on existing operation
• Provide coaching and monitoring within the operation to achieve good customer service
• Comply with policies and procedures related to health, safety, environment and quality
• Assist Logistics Manager on any adhoc matters whenever required
• Preparation of reports as required by Management
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in logistic function in a Manufacturing/Building & Construction environment/Supply Chain
• At least 2 years in Supervisory and managing a team of drivers/packers/storeman
• Entry level candidates are welcomed to apply
• Experience in using a Warehouse Management System will be advantageous
• Excellent use of MS Office especially Excels and Words
• Generally computer savvy
• Positive attitude with enthusiasm to learn and pick up new skills
• Hands-on and excellent multi-tasking skills
