Job Description

  • Prepare handle all import and export for Singapore
  • Prepare shipping documents for import and export shipment, including pro-forma invoices
  • Handle and manage all necessary documents for L/C application and bank negotiation independently
  • Correspond/liaise with supplier/customer and shipping agent to ensure prompt and timely shipment
  • Monitor and follow up on dispatch/demurrage on every shipment handled
  • Arrange switching and surrender of OBL
  • Apply Certificate of Origin, Manufacturer’s Certificate, etc
  • Monitor and update customers on the cargoes estimated arrival and departure dates
  • Inform/update warehouse and finance on the shipment details
  • Check and verify all the freight invoices before payment
  • Perform 3 way match of purchase order, supplier invoice, GRN
  • Generation of sales invoices to customers
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum a GCE “O” Level
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Possess good experience and knowledge on shipping documents
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
