Job Description

• Handle and resolve conflicts and feedbacks from public and stakeholders pertaining to the project
• Preparing circulars, letters, notices and flyers to keep the community/ residents, stakeholders informed on the site activities and progress
• Conduct regular visits to residents/ stakeholders affected by the works to gather feedback
• Provide administrative support and assistance to Project Management Team
• Working closely with all relevant parties such as Contractors, Project Managers, Consultants, Residents, Authorities, etc. and take proactive measures in mitigating all complaints arising from the construction activities
• Build rapport with neighbouring institutions such as school, resident committee etc.
• Handle and resolve conflicts, feedback and complains pertaining to the project
• Ensure feedback is properly resolved and the case is closed
• Maintain a log of the feedback cases and follow up actions
• Serves as secretary for briefings, meetings and dialogue sessions conducted with affected parties/ resident and Town Councils, etc. and submit reports and note of meeting after each session
• Planning and launching of public relation programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a civil construction environment as a Public Relations Officer
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/ Administration Management, Mass Communications or equivalent
  • Knowledge in design of pamphlets, notices, etc. for PR works
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak at all levels, including local dialects in order to communicate with older folks in the community
  • Pleasant personality and friendly disposition
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications
