The Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH), formerly known as the Singapore Association for the Blind (SAB), was founded on 6 November 1951. It is a Social Service Agency (SSA) for the visually impaired. The association is affiliated to the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and is an approved Institute of a Public Character (IPC).
